| Lovin' every MINI of it! | All Read This!!!!! To all who post in the DTT section, I and many of the other moderators have had enough of the product slagging that is happening on this forum. If you are going to post a review of a vendors products, you will do so with respect and solid evidence leaving the flame fest at home. If ANY user tries to spin a thread off into a slag fest, that user will be eligible for a wonderful surprise known as a "BAN". Cursing in the threads is also getting out of hand and is a violation of the use of this forum. No longer will I "fix" your posts, I will simply start to issue bans. It is clear that many of you can't act like adults so we will do what is necessary to make sure that you do. This ends now.... Have a nice day. Offline | well said I am not surprised that it has got to this stage, people just do not seem to learn what to say in many posts - especially in Drive Train & Tuning. Let's make the mods job easier by posting in a sensible way, no slagging and no swearing. A few clear facts speak a thousand words In Italy |

Offline | no respect. i am glad that you have made this statement, it is long over due, when i first joined, i was able to make an informed decision on ,which way was the best way forward, to my ultimate goal. anyone joining now , will see the same half dozen "members" , trying to run down each tuner, the net result is the forum is now a personal slagging match, and no "new " member will be informed about any developments. lets please return to the way things are meant to be, you pays your money, you take your choice, and once you make your choice, you do not need to be told that" this is good, that is bad" professional respect is what is needed ! |

Offline | Fully supported! After all this is a forum for people who are supposed to share a common interest - love of our Mini's. Development thrives when there is competition, that is how the free market works. If you look at another site Wheels24.co.za you can see what happens when slagging gets out of hand - especially between BWM, Audi and Merc supporters where every nobody has some mud to throw ![]() |

| Lovin' every MINI of it! | Clearly some folks like this kind of saga on the site and still we have some that either can't read or simply choose not to. I have been gone for a few days as I was on vacation. However, I am now back and will deal with the tuning section as I mentioned above. There are no longer going to be the warnings to stop, just a simple ban. We already have few in the Pits because they wanted to stir the pot. There is nothing wrong with debate, just keep the low blows out of it. Last and final warning folks.... Please do not test me. Global Moderator ![]() |

| Remember | Well done Will, about time someone took this on and put an end to these guys and their customers digging at other products on the market. We as potential customers want the facts, in a plain and simple manner on how it will improve our current car, what it will do, what potential pit falls there are, so that we can make a decision. We do not want all the **** waving which has been going on, or the 'oh mine is bigger and better than yours', we all know that its not the size that just counts ![]() I know I'll be hitting that report button as I am sure other users will when they see this kind of behavior to help you find these posts and rid the sit of this episode ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() Last edited by DaFlake : May 28th, 2008 at 08:35 AM.
