It went well on Donnington, so I'm expecting the same on CC.

Better than playing chicken with a Focus Besides, even though I was sideways and parked on the apex, I still got moving before anything caught me up!

My tryres are useless in the wet, as experienced last year, but were excellent in the dry in May at Castle Combe.

Got new brakes and suspension on order - hope to have the brakes fitted by Castle Combe if time allows

Bring them with you and we'll fit the brakes before your first session

It will be dry! Positive thinking!

I need new brakes now too! I knew they were getting near but Ade pointed out the insides were getting a bit close. Certainly Combe would finish them off and probably boil the fluid quick too.

Alex, have you been running the Carbotechs?

Carbotechs XP8's since I had the car sorted. I have done one track day at Donnington using them too.

Think Mini have an offer on Motul RBF600 brake fluid. I dont use anything else, and haven't for a long time.

RBF 600 is the daddies esp at 10-12 quid like think are doing it at! My works brakes may not be the best but they never get the spongey feeling back now that they used to get over time when I used 5.1.... I'm guessing thats because I have not boiled the fluid time and time again due to the high point on RBF.

Oh and once theres some XP10 on the front of my works discs...the car will be great as a track warrior (even better with the Stoptech or new JCWs on) I'll soon be chasing you alex
