How much did the new oil pump stuff cost you? Might be worth changing mine while my clutch is being done, was there a lot of work involved getting to the pump???
Regards
Andrew

The oil pump rotors were about £20 for the pair. Fitting means you have to remove the pullys from the side of the engine, take off the oil pump cover, and replace then, also replacing the oil pump gasket cover.

I have no idea how long the work would take as I didnt do it.

I best get over to ThinkMINI tonight then if I'm going to sabotage it

Mate the TCE kit relocates the brake how? Out-board hub, in-board hub... rotates caliper location to front or rear, or location on the disc eg caliper pointing forward or pointing back?

It has a bracket which relocated the caliper further out, allowing for a larger disk to be fitted.

I am guessing he will be taking pride of place at the ThinkMINI open day during the summer.... You'll see it then if you pop accross to Holt Heath, outside Worcester, way of the world.

Not R56 me thinks ... Orange flashes on the side arches give 2 options IMO ... US spec or something altogether far more exciting (or risque/naughty depending on your point of view). Note he's being very careful to try and avoid letting us see shots of the front and rear bumpers.

He is also making no comment as to the engines internals .... I think that sneaky begger might have something very special under the hood that he is trying to plaster over with talk of LSDs and facelift boxes and oil/water pumps being the reason for an engine out job

Plus I hear murmers of expensive import/vat tax bills for parts from the US

You had your rims done too Bhozar? Gone back to white or sticking with silver for now... I think the whites did look good when new chap

The front bumper is no way a standard or aero bumper! No way.

In fact I'd go as far as to say it looks like a repainted GP bumper but couldn't say for definate.

Not talking about that picture Talking about the picture where the stripes are being put on You can see where the lower part of the cooper grill should go and it looks like the GP bit where the Number plate goes
