Those brake ducts work too! The bumper should let more air through to the rad, now its not blocked by the licence plate and the opening is larger. See, the GP bumper is a performance mod

Other than the wheels and stripe, the car is 100% OEM on the outside.

christ that took long enough, I thought GP last week, especially after the question on sidemarker lights but no mention of aero sideskirts.

Although i do hope its not as i'm not much of a fan of the GP bumpers personaly compared to the Aero kit

Wow!! Loving it!! I thought that the GP bumper wouldn't work, but it looks really good! I love the front on pic, makes the car look really mean! If I saw you coming up behind me I would move out of the way!

Dave and Adrian at ThinkMINI.co.uk have done you proud there mate. We have seen the cosmetic side of ThinkMINIs work ... Now lets see how there mechanical work they have done fairs for you at Showdown in 3 weeks or so. I assume you'll be there with the ThinkMINI crowd in support for the first proper power tests of the car in real world, forward moving conditions?!

Both days or just Sunday chap ... Let me know as I think I'll join you so I can have a proper gander and a ride.

Althought I'm very proud of what the guys have done for my car, please dont turn it into an advert. With that said, they have done a cracking job with everything and under my difficult deadlines and demands. Ask anyone who has had me for a customer; I'm a PITA.

I'll be camping the Saturday night, and will be on the track both days. I doubt it will be long before Ellie is next out on a race track at a track day. I will also be at the Castle Coombe Mini Action Day in September.

I didn't read the thread till yesterday and then was only skimming really.

I can't see the pics shilst at work has he got the rear GP bumper bits aswell as the curvature at the bottom of the side rear archs got me thinking he'd maybe done the rear to.

Looking really good

Have you piped up the false GP ducts to become proper brake ducts and direct air to the inside of the front discs?

Why would any GP owner object to a GP bumper being fitted to an non GP. To me it is each to their own and when it is done this way with full colour coding the end result is excellent.

In Italy
