Removing jcw airbox

I was thinking about removing my jcw airbox and was wondering what happens with the vaccum pipe that goes into the box, does it get plugged back into something or do you just blank it off, also what do you do with the wires.

Cheers

When my JCW airbox arrived I pulled out all the vacuum pipe, wires, flap and any other gubbins and the rubber bung in the second hole. All that was left was a nice looking plastic airbox with a bigger hole in the back. I also fitted an ITG filter, the car sound awesome after it.

My review will be in one of my other threads on here

I have already removed the flap and the bung and fitted another filter, but I might be selling the car soon and want to refit the standard airbox. The vacuum hose and wires don't get connected to the original airbox (I think), so, I was wondering what happens to the hose and wires?

Well the hose and wires were not part of the standard airbox fittings so they will need to be pulled out.

Send a message via MSN to NickG
the fitting instructions are here:

you should be able to work backwards, you will need to remove the vacuum t-piece from memory.
