JCW Tips

Having done a search, this still seems to be a no no, in terms of fitting them on to a standard 'S' set up.

Did read on one thread that someone had seen a How To Do, has anyone else seen it, or know where it is.
Would be interested in any attempts, either successful or a failure.
Is there any photos of the completed item?

Regards

the how to was for the r56 you need to do some welding and cutting to fit them to your r53. or this is what I believe anyhow.

I believe the tips from the Cooper JCW Soundkit will fit the standard MCS exhaust. thye're a different diameter to the MCS JCW ones. There are threads on the matter somewhere.

Just stump up the cash and get the whole thing, you can buy the stuff separately from Chris at Woodmans BMW. I bought them through an ex mini2 sponsor and paid £289 (rear silencer), £69 (trims) , £155 (Centre) which was either the same or a fraction cheaper than Woodmans (excluding delivery). The pre 2004 rear box is cheaper than the later one and the later one has a stupid flat section specific to the Cab. Mines a 2003.

Thanks all for your replies.

It was just an enquiry, as having read a few threads about these tips just wondered if there had been any further developments regarding the fitting of them.
Did read somewhere, that someone had drilled out the 4 pop rivets at the read and fitted bolts.

Once again many thanks for the replies.
