I do agree, as the chap ive sold to running well lets say its well modded, and as was running very hot, the best first mod you can do is a scan gauge to see how you IAT is running it just plugs into the ODBII port and sits under the center stack.

As i said earlier were going to test run some non invasive heat reduction parts on our cooper s over the next few months, aero gel shields and cool wrap.

However, you can change it over to stock in 5 minutes via 4 bolts

Jon, the man speaks sense. If your staying on the stock i/c it would deffo be a good idea to keep an eye on those temps. I should have had one ages ago despite being on the GP i/c not long after the pulley change.

Seeing those IAT's is like having a nanny telling when is and when isn't a good time to give it some beans. There might be a deal going soon so keep an eye on MiniTorque

Edit. Rigsey has a very good point, it is very very easy to change. Seriously if a monkey like me can do it... a five year old could

I should have mentioned, the first time I did it I dropped a nut which required a swearing monkey to retrieve it - took said monkey 45 minutes
