managed to get a fresh supercharger that was completely new, blades still rough, and had a very generous offer on the old supercharger (more than the new) so i sold it. i was having a new radiator fitted anyway, so all in the same area...sort of.

anyway, drove the car today and it's like a completely different car. engine does sound a lot louder, like it's come alive, so i'm very happy. the pictures not very clear, there are 2 lines one being the car before all the work was done and the other being afterwards. blue's horsepower, red's torque, it's not a very good picture unfortunately.

Surely the colours are the other way round - no MCS is still increasing torque at the top end of the rev band
Blue = Horsepower
Red = Torque

Yeah must be or it would gain torque like a turbo out of control! Still the torque is impressive as most MINIs drop offby atleast 5,000rpm but this one keeps going and then levels out. Cam maybe??
