Should be in the tool kit pouch thing (located behind left hand panel) in the boot of your car

Well, life is mega hectic at the moment - long term relationship split, trying to sell the house (in the UK!!! - yeah right!!), best friend having life crisis, and the usual bombarding of work on top of it all.

RRing is loooooow down on my list right now, but be rest assured it WILL happen - it's just elsewhere in my priority list at the moment LOL.

Cheers,
K.

DIY ScanGauge

Quote: Originally Posted by KitKat (original)

Hiya. Well, a scan gauge is a unit that connects to the cars computer through the standard OBDii port found near your steering wheel - every car has them (post WW2 LOL)

I am using it to monitor certain variables that are offered via the ECU - Coolant Temp, Charged Air Temp, and a few other values.

Just wanted to see how my driving style and the outside environment effects the performance controlling attributes - temperatures to be exact.

They are not that expensive (and i wonder if Roland has forgotten i have his unit - Joke Roland... you can have it back at anytime if you need it, otherwise when i visit for the Turbo upgrade)

Cheers,
K.

What milage are you up to now and how much of that has been done under the GTT conversion.

Has it been reliable and what do you reckon the life span of the engine will now be after tuning??
