Forced air intake on mini one?

I currently have a 2005 55 plate mini one, and was thinking of sticking a cooper S bonnet on it...

Basically was wondering if its possible to hook the sccop up to the air intake to give better airflow to the engine?

and if so wouild it make any difference to performance?

Looking to get Lohens LO1 kit to take it upto 130bhp.. but was thinking if i could increase the airflow it would run better?

maybe just wishfull thinking!!

a big waste of money for a few horses better with a viper kit imo, ones and coopers are never going to make big power in that way beyond swapping the cam shaft any one is a waste them doing the head is only for those with money to burn

speaking as a fellow one / cooper driver id make sure your car is rolling road tested first to see where your powers at as my cooper made 130 stock

a far safer mod imo is to have you car flashed with the cooper map (i dont rate superchips hence why i dont sell bluefin) and quicksilver cat back and a viper kit may cost a bit more but its real power
