Milltek fitting

Hi all

I have a milltek cat-back exhaust which my local exhaust guy is going to fit this saturday. The exhaust was bought from lohen. My question is do these exhausts come with everything required for fitting. In the box it came in there was

the exhaust sections (3 off)
one gasket
two 58mm diameter band clamps
The associated bolts, nuts and washer for the clamps

Thanks in advance

Indeed they do!

Mine had everything but the place who fitted it didnt use the brackets or gaskets from the pack that lohen sent! :@

So i refitted it myself one day and i wish I would have done it myself originally.

Good luck with it anyway

If its for a S model then you may need a few spacer washers to lower the system so it does not rub your bumper.

All the bits and pieces should be there in the pack. The only thing that you may need to change, and it depends on the age of your MINI, is the exhaust hangers (red plastic things) - I have seen a fair few that have broken/worn with age.

The place that fitted my Milltek exhaust (also from Lohen) this past summer said I needed some sort of rubber washers - as my old ones had corroded. They suggested I get that seen to by BMW or bring it back with the parts for them within the year.

The MINI is going back to BMW this Monday for some disturbing electrical problems - so I'll probably just ask them to sort that out for me then too.

All the best,
Andrew.
