Hi all

I thought i would go and get the superchip fitted to Millie, so went and had it done today, didn't have time to do a rolling road test but i have noticed better throttle response nothing to throw me off the seat but my suspension does that.

Glad i had it done and need to get on the rolling road to check output as it has JCW filter and magnex exhaust

Hi Paul. Your obviously not selling millie any more. Have you noticed much difference since having it fitted other than slightly better throttle response?

To be honest mate i haven't really taken the car for a complete thrashing since the chip eas fitted but i have noticed it seems to pull better at the higher end of the revs

Hi all

Now i have had the chip for a few days i thought i would let you know my opinion, £300 wasted as far as i can notice there is very little change to the performance since the 8Bhp upgrade, it is slightly more responsive in the mid range area and seems to pull slightly better at high revs, but as i have an Magnex exhaust and JCW filter already fitted this could be why i have not noticed much change.

I am waiting to get it on a rolling road to see the output but IMO you would be better spending money on exhaust and filter

I know some people have had it fitted and noticed massive changes but i haven't and if anyone on the 23rd was to sample the difference i will take you out for a spin

Did you consider the phase 2 upgrade with an extra 30HP? Perhaps they would consider an upgrade for the difference in cost, or returning your money if you are not particularly happy.

I think the +30HP mod is around £500. +8HP is only an 8% increase in power so wouldn't think that would be really noticeable especially since you already have enhancements.

I've got the pipercross filter and a playmini cat back is on its way so the setups should be fairly similar - albeit with yours having 18" wheels!

I'm thinking about the Magnex exhaust to compliment my JCW induction. I've had a search on the forums but not found much info on it. Have you noticed much difference with it performance wise?

How does the exhaust sound when complimenting the filter?

Hi

When ever i turn up at the nmeets the boys say they can hear me 5 mins before i turn up, it looks and sounds nice. It seems to make the car run alot mor free than before

Paul, doesn't it Pull any better at round 3000rpm? Sounds like a waste of money if not

They do a money back thing though don't they, if you're not happy?
