Question Anyone know how to disable the ABS?

Well now I've got my Nokian Hakkapellitta Qs (most excellent siped softest snow tyres I've seen ), and waiting on some 15" Borbets from TRack.
Thinking ahead to some seriously fun/ice racing driving this winter (if El Nino doesn't ruin it ), I prefer to have the ABS disabled for obvious reasons!
My Mitsu Galant VR4 ABS I just pulled the fusable link and it was off.
The only thing I have read so far was that the Mexican rally Cooper they tried and the ECU flipped out so they couldn't do it- yet.
Any suggestions/ideas much appreciated!

Hi ezrally...

Check this out I had annother car wich had some brake work done to it by mistake someone cut the ABS wire on the left front wheel...voilla no ABS. Try to disconect the ABS connector and see what happens.

Good luck

Find the fuse, and pull it--thats my guess. Plenty of my Subaru friends do that at auto-x's

I'm sure that I heard somebody say that all was needed was to pull the ABS fuse. Ask Russ Swift, he knows how to turn it off
