Short shift

I just want to know is there a short shift kit out ther for the S?

No, really, it's a new shifter or shift linkgage that reduces the distance you have to move the shift knob to change gears. Shorter distance means faster shifts.

I let a coworker drive my MCS today at lunchtime, and he says the MCS's stock shift is as short as his VW GTI's that has a short-shift kit in it. But not as short as his dad's Honda S2000.

I dunno. I'm happy with it the way it is -- no plans to change it.

Talked to the guys at UUC Motorwerks about mini products and they said they are working as fast as they can to put the finishing touches on some mods. I had a UUC short shifter in my audi and loved it. Can't wait to see the exhaust and shifter kit for the mini.

Pics of the exhaust and pedals have have been posted elsewhere on Mini2... and for other stuff, you should see what we have on the CAD workstations.
