Post Gas consumption with K&N

Hi all!

I have installed a K&N induction kit in my Cooper and I have noticed a smaller gas consumption.
Around 50 km more of autonomy.

Somebody with a similar case?

Yui.

Arrow Too hot

Hello obehave,

My friend Abarth says me about my installation may be no gain more powerhorses and no gain mileage by the induction of hot air.
Is this so really dramatic? I have now a better mileage.
In this case I will put any panel to stopping the heat.

He says chipping is the better way to gain hp.

Anytime you can increase the effecitency of the engine, you will get more HP and better gas economy...you may get slightly better throttle response as well from the shorter intake path, but I wonder how much the hot air environment will decrease performance....I am not sure if anyone makes a cold air intake yet for the cars. Don't forget if you are taking in more air, then you must also get rid of more air....next logical step is to do header/exhaust

Johnny - who is going to go look for a cold air intake for MINI's....
