Offline | THIS is where I spent an hour or so yesterday Hopefully next March I'll turn 25 (that's the certain bit ) have just short of 7 years NCB, have paid off the bills that were part of the reason for getting rid of the Cooper and buy myself a new toy from there The benefits of getting older ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | The S isn't hugely quick in a straight line, or even around a track - witness the recent Car or EVO mag Car of the Year results. (Anyone have a link to them?) But the S was deemed more worthy than the Impreza, Type VII etc. It was only beaten by the Ferrari 575, Merc 500SL and the Pagani Zonda - as an all round DRIVING EXPERIENCE. Now add another 50bhp to that and (hopefully) it can only get better... Come on, I dare anyone to defeat this argument ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | All the FQ's come into the UK as standard EVO's with between 280-286BHP. Some then under go the performance upgrade to FQ300 spec. All the work is carried out by the Colt Car Co. (Mitsubishi UK) at Portbury in Bristol. Each individual that has the FQ300 up-grade will produce 300bhp + I've driven one of two FQ300 too, & their bloody quick ![]() S for Smiffy "Kids in the front seat cause accidents, accidents in the backseat cause kids!" |

Offline | Nice on smiffy i bet they go a bit to put it mildly lol .Didnt know they were standard cars which are tweeked over here, thought that this was done in Japan. Anyway on top of the FQ300 spec a power enginering remap would be nice lol Evos have to be remapped cause the ECUS cant just be swapped. Well this is true of them all up to the EVO 6 dont know about the EVO 7? |
