Piper X Viper air filter

Hi all,

Just wanted to say i fitted the carbon airfilter yesterday fitted it an the differance is very noticable.
To the point where my girlfriend noticed just revercing off the drive.

Ive put filters on other cars ive had but never felt so much gain before. The car feels more free reving and alot smoother through the power band.

The noise isnt too over the top either. not like your 8 valve cars anyway.

Anyway for £200 sheets it was a good buy.

Whats a carbon air filter? I've only used carbon to filter smells/tastes (like in a fishtank?).

I had a word with the nice man on the piper X stand at the NEC for a cash deal.

Was going to get the normal filter but after we did the deal for that one he realised he didnt have any. The old sympathy vote got the price down on the Carbon filter then and with £50 off i couldn't realy say no could I?

Not looking forward to taking it off again for the service!
