EBC Green stuff

Hey, any news on your brakes? How are they performing now? Are they still fading?

Sorry mate, didn't see this. The answer is no, they aren't still fading, and they do generate much less dust than the normal pads. In normal driving, expect the fronts to get about as dirty as the rears (maybe a little less). I don't think the pedal response is as good though, and I think the original BMW pads on the back give better initial bite than the greenstuff. This means the car is very willing to hang the tail if you brake mid-corner.

The answer may be to replace the rears as well, to get that balance back. I'm just going to see how I go for a little while.

Thanks Swamos!

So the stopping power of the original pads are better than the EBC pads huh? The problem is when are they coming out with the rear pads. Helix said they would be out by this month, but looks like its going to take longer.
