Conversions/Speed Limits

In the UK the limit is 70mph, going on 80.
What are they in the states and provinces of US and Canada, Australasia, Europe and other countries worldwide?

You can't tell me you're going for it to poodle around, so how do fellow members reconcile the Cooper's converted capacity to rocket through these limits with breaking the law?

Personally, am considering a conversion when the dust has settled in the marketplace - the power/torque seems awsome!

In the US its by state, as well as road. Assuming 2 lane (or more) each direction roads, they'll range from 55mph up to 75 (I think Montana is the only state with a 75 limit) most of the flatter states have 65 or 70, and roads that run through mountains or cities will be closer to 55, even if its in a state that has a higher limit. (NY for example will have 55 limits many places until you're you're out in the country, where its 65)

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.

United-States N/A for the MCS

Come on the mini, while fast is certainly not going to de accidently doing triple digits. With the horsepower orgy that is being unleashed (271 hp evo;333 hp m3;340 hp 24; hell 240 hp mini vans) I just do not see any mcs, no matter the mods as a serious rule breaker. 135 top end is cool, but it does take a while to get there. These cars are great fun, and to me the are the best $/smile value; but over powering they are not.
