On another board that does not have the super currency converter Paul set up for us, somebody asked what the rumored 3500 Sterling price was in US dollars. I posted the answer=$5528. A thread grew some, people complaining about the high number.

Then a post came from a bmw source:

Update? Hint? Tease? Bait and Switch? At least bmw wants to know what we are thinking.

I think a "wait and see" attitude is appropriate. as fun as the speculation is, it's still far to early to make definitive judgments.

A good chunk of whatever the price ends up as will be labor. It could end up being higher or lower than a straight exchange rate.

Are there going to be tariffs? Disposal fees for old fluids? Refunds for old supercharger?
