Pipercross Induction Kit - HELP!

Receieved m pipercross induction kit for my cooper yesterday. It comes with instructions on fitment which look fairly good.

One thing it doesn't mention is usage of the included Air Filter Dirt Retention Oil spray. Do I just spray the whole bottle all other the outside of the airfilter?

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

no you put just enough on to cover it if its to wet it is not efficient and can also get sucked into the engine i had the same fear with my drop in filter.

Might want to check if it was pre-oiled when it left the factory... it will leave some oil on your hands when touched if it was...

Hi,

Have you noticed a decent power gain since fitting the induction kit, the figures quoted say around the 10bhp mark. Also do you know if the kit voids the warranty/TLC?

Cheers,

Eddy

doesn't void warranty (apart from the warranty on the airbox) or TLC, but doesn't add 10bhp either. Think closer to 2 or 3...

well i've fitted it. Can't say i've noticed a massive increase in power. It's maybe improved low down torque a bit. The best thing about it is the sound when you put your foot down!
