Offline | What are people views on the cat back Miltek exhaust for the MINI Cooper S? To me the price looks about what I want to pay for an exhaust as the magnaflow from GGR is just to expensive. I have had a look through search but not found anything. Cooper S : Dark silver, white roof |

Offline | E-mail to AMD --------------------------------------------------------- Can I expect with a Milltek Cat Back Exhaust and Milltek Manifold and Sports Catalyser an increase of (8bhp) + (10bhp) = 18 bhp? Regards Mo ![]() --------------------------------------------------------- Reply: No. Depending on the state of the tuning on your engine, mileage etc.. Power gains have ranged between 10 - 20bhp, by using both manifold and system. Even on standard cars with the exhaust fitted this can be the case. Regards AmD ----------------------------------------------------- Hum.......make your own mind up on that one. Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | Fitted the Milltek cat back exhaust yesterday. The system is well built and fits perfectly. Initial impressions (as i've only had it for one day); - Car definitely feels more responsive - Sound suits me perfectly. Doesn't really sound any louder when cruising or at idle than stock, but gives a lovely sporty low growl when you put your foot down. Probably not one for the boy racers as the sound is not OTT. - Looks great IMO. (In twin round guise). Tailpipes are larger than stock but not stupidly big. Hey, after fitting the exhaust I went for a short drive and passed a group of kids while accelerating in second and heard shouts of d_ckhe@d, so it obviously impressed them ![]() Gone but not forgotten |

Offline | Hartge don't do a quad. The one you've seen is by Birds (a Hartge Distributor). I'd go for the Milltek over the quad as you've a good chance of seeing some power gain. The quad is just for looks (but they do look good )Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | If u hv a Milltek cat-back, is there any benefits in using the header from Milltek as well??? Or we can choose SuperSprint for the header?? It will still fit i presume, but its just that Milltek would hv done all the R&D of the whole system and performance figures would be unknown if we mix and match brands. |
