I'm about to make the plunge and order a magnaflow exhaust system. The only consistent complaint I've heard is the noise. My research indicates that the Dynamat people make a product (Dynamat Extreme) that they say easily and cheaply addresses this problem. Anyone out there have any experience with this or other fixes???

I have used the normal dynamat previously when the boot on my car used to rattle due to a sub, stick a little of this stuff on and it absorbs all the rattle and tinnyness out of metal.

If this product is anything to go by then it should work well.

There are several threads on this. Try a search for Magnaflow in the performance section. I tried the "Loudroneaflow" exhaust. 3 layers of Dynamat in the hatch, boot floor, and under the rear seat will NOT do a thing for the bassy noise. However, once you change to a "nonloudroneaflow" exhaust as I have, the stereo sounds great.
