Offline | I just put my car on the new dyno smog for California to see what it was pumping out, and the tech told me its very clean. So no worries, maybe except for the new pricing which is expected to be $60 compared to current $30. My mods consisted Pulley, Evo ECU, Supersprint Header and cat-back, and BMP intake. You'll need to install the stock intake since none of the aftermarket intakes for the S is carb approved yet. As for the header they didn't see it. I had all my mods on during the pre-test. Numbers from the results: (Averages) @ 2875 rpm HC ppm: 15 (Max: 130) NO ppm: 18 CO%: 0.00 (Max: 1.00) CO2%: 15.3 O2: 0.1 2003 Mini Cooper S - IB/W - BMP Intake, Supersprint header, and catback exhaust, Alta pulley and Evotech ECU |

Offline | Man, you just made my weekend!!! ![]() Again, you have the stock cat, correct (welded onto the header)? Reinstalling the stock intake is cake. Well, I suppose a little more complicated for those with the Alta (partion removed... hope you kept it)... Thanks for sharing! '03 (9.6.02) MCS IB/W Lapis Blue Leather Mission = 10:1 (Weight:HP) |

Offline | Yeah I'm using the stock cat, supersprint provided a flange to weld onto the stock cat. I may try using the supersprint race cat as they tell me it is causing a retriction in my system, which is why I'm not seeing the gains they claim. But I don't really want to spend another $600 for the race cat and still see no increase or not much. 2003 Mini Cooper S - IB/W - BMP Intake, Supersprint header, and catback exhaust, Alta pulley and Evotech ECU |
