The Story so far...

Picked up in April 2003
Ran in

4500 Miles and it has a Hartge Conversion

Lots of

later and it's 9600 miles and service time...

Different dealer from where i bought the car and they dont know i've had it Hartge'd, and they definitly arn't 'mod' friendly and me and their head salesman don't really get on!

So, first service is due and i'm a bit worried about them finding out about my car and not servicing or trying to charge me for it

Which is probably what a lot of you guys out there are a bit worried about. But the good news is that it was serviced and cleaned with out a single query!

So for those of you still wavering about going Hartge, Just Do It!

Hehe i've been on about my car since day 1 including when i had in converted, they've done the work now so they can't complain, and if they do i'll simply take it to Sytners who will service it for me, and they lose money.

Nic, did you inform him not to do an upgrade of your ECU-software? I understand this sometimes is done when a car comes to service.

No i didn't QQQ, it was only a service 1 so i presume no software upgrade was done, car still seems to pull as hard and rev as high as before so i don't think they have.

Anyway of knowing for sure?

As far as I'm aware the first service under TLC is an oil change as thats all the dealer done on ours a couple of weeks back when it had its first service.

Cheers Shorty, Daniel rang me earlier, suggested that they had some exhausts in stock and would i like one...ummm my credit card aint recovered yet!

Can you get some pictures of Daniel's new wheels when you go down to get your exhaust fitted please mate? He's got the new Hartge 'Union Jack' alloys

I'll try but not sure whether the car will be there as he's on a track day on Monday. Neve heard of "union jack" alloys??

I think I prefer the classic one's but can't afford them yet anyway. Next mod will be the air intake...I think
