South Africa eibach pro kit users:check in i need opinions

ok here we go

i just got my new jcw S recently with 17" S lites without run flat tyres(the dealer was kind enough to exchange the euphorias for s-03s) and the ride has improved beyond even my expectations.

I am considering the eibach pro kit springs for my car just to lower it slightly and also give it some improved handling characteristics. Here is my dillema, when i had the run flats on my last car the ride in certain areas was shocking the car tramlined and crashed over bumps. So what i want to know is is the ride with the eibachs and non runflat tyres as crashy and tramlining as the standard car with run flats.

Also what problems (if any) have you experienced with the kit eg with wheels alignment, tyre wear etc?

Thanks in advance guys i appreciate it!

Interested to see if you get any replies on this one, 'cos I'm also thinking about fitting the Eibach's to my Cooper with 17" S-spokes and runflats

I have the eibach springs but I only have 16's on...thinkin gof changing to 17's soon.

I love the stance they give the car.....nice and low looking. You'll have to consider the types of roads you'll be driving on...country roads or city roads. If most of my driving was country driving I deffo wouldn't fit them because of all the pot-holes, but if I lived in Jo'burg for example I think the trade off between bumps and looks would be worth it.

I know this doesn't really help tho...

Hi
I've got the Eibach Pro Kit on my black S (JCW being fitted as we speak) with 215/40/17 Yoyohama non-runflats.They lower the car 1" in the front and 1.2" in the rear and gets rid of the rake, which IMO looks better. The ride is firm, but not annoying ,(except watch out for pot holes they'll rattle your brains),the stance is very cool, and it handles like it's on rails.I would'nt go back to stock.Enjoy!

QuikSilver I don't live in South Africa......my friend has family in the north-west, migdol and delerayville to be precise and i've been lucky enough to visit a few times

Like Texascrude says the kit does lower the car nicely and it it gives it a lot nicer stance imho

i have eibach springs appart from installing them which is fun (hehe) they look awsome definetly a harder handing and conering is much better the car being lowerd makes the rear more toe-out is it? like this / \ so u get better rear grip.

looks much better u can really see the difference next to a standard mini but alone you wouldn't know its lowered which means u dont have to creep over bumps .
