Offline | Poll for Hartge MCS owners I'm probably going to get the engine conversion from Hartge very soon, but don't know whether to get their quad exhaust system, or twin pipe Hartge exhaust, or keep the original one. So howsabout all you people out there that have had the engine conversion done tell me what exhausts you've got? |

Offline | well i'm boring as i still have the original, personally i think the quad system looks horrible and ruins the look of the car. i am looking at uprated twin pipes myself. can't wait, just need to start saving ! A. |

Offline | The demo car I drove had the quad exhaust on it. Regarding the looks, I'm still unsure about whether it's a bit too much, but I just love the way it sounds. You can't have too much snap, crackle and pop from an exhaust - that's what I say!! |

Offline | I have the Spirit exhaust I think its down to different tastes, personally I think it looks great and it sounds just awsome but it comes at a price. So Darren S you are going to have to make up your own mind. Rasp |

Offline | I've got the Milltek Twin Round Cat-back exhaust with my Hartge conversion. Milltek manifold + sports cat coming soon ........... (when money permits ) Sounds great, looks great and definitely seems to make the car run smoother. Hartge is definitely the way to go though. (engine conversion, not exhaust). The original and still the best ![]() Gone but not forgotten |

Offline | Point of order. Last time I was at Hartge in July, they did not have a quad exhaust. I believe the quad exhaust is a Birds animal. I love it but since I am back in the states, I am likely going to put Borla sport on my car. Brain MCS Liquid Yellow / Black |

Offline | i went for the quad exhaust, mainly because its the only give away that its a Hartge conversion (if u r de-badged), and then that Audi S3 thats been hassling you knows why its been left behind. Also, it sounds fab, and i don't think its too over the top if your car looks (otherwise) quite standard. The 1st and original UK Hartge Cooper S |
