for all you MCS owners wtih the borla exhaust i have a request

i know those are twin oval tips

i am wondering would anybody be kind enough to measure the tips for me?

like lenght and height and width of the tips

i am just looking for side to side measure of the tips and from top to bottom

if u could accompany them wtih some pics..i would sincereley appreciate them


i am wondering which one of these are the tip sizes

height 2.5" x width 3.5"

height 3.5" X width 4.25"

or maybe they are totally different

Here we go, lets see if you (and I) can follow...

Tip Width: 3.5
Tip Height: 3
2 Tips + Gap: 6 (9/16)"

(*)Distance extended from stock bumper when all pipe connections are at their maximum depth: ~2"

(*)Distance from the bottom edge of bumper to top most part of the tips: 7/8"

This is all on a Borla Race Exhaust with all pipes at the connection points inserted as far in as possible and a stock bumper.

I've also got a 14mb 1min long sound clip of the system, which IMO, is a great representative of what it sounds like tone wise in the car w/ the windows up and the windows down as well as a stationary point outside of the car when the car is sitting. If someone knows how to compress the file so it's not 14mb for a frickin' sound clip, I'd be glad to do it, and put it up for everyone.

hmm..the two measurements i gave above is the only tip sizes borla supposedly have for their mcs tips...hmmm

i have 2.5X3.5 and you ahve 3.5X3
