I've heard from others that there've been problems fitting the oil catch can to newer 2003 MCS, so I emailed Alta and they confirmed that the problem has now been resolved, and the mounting kit would work for old and new MCS! I'll wait and see when I come to install mine.

Just read through the instructions from Alta and they suggested that the oil catch can should be mounted under the cowl vents for 2003 built MCS. Is it a good idea to mount it there? Or is it better off to custom make a bracket and mount it next to the intercooler as shown in many pics?
