Offline | Advice on which ECU upgrade to go for. After Crimbo I will hopefully be getting an ECU upgrade to go with my other mods (that you can see in my sig). So what is the best one to go for a normal superchip upgrade from Mini-Design or the one click from Cool New or AMD. Any advice on this subject would be much appreciated. Offline | Dunno but one of the specialists that do engine maps or i think uni chips are car specific too, and are rolling road setup. Im not really impressed by the one click system someone i know that works in engine mapping says the ideas good but the maps they use are crap, superchips only releases 7bhp which i think is a but punny really and not worth it, ive also heard that it doesnt feel that much different either |

Offline | Loui what about that fact that I have had a few performance mods done to the car. As that figure of 7bhp is on a standard MCS or will the bhp still be the same figure no matter what you have done already? Cooper S : Dark silver, white roof |

Offline | GIAC has been using my car here in So Cal for testing. I'm not going to pretend I understand everything they are doing with the ECU, but I can tell you they are getting good power. They have taken their time, but they are working seriously on releasing a quality product. Eric@helix could probably give you more specific info. happy holidays, ![]() Chili Red & White MCS. Offline | Hi Dark Mini, Why don't you go for the BBR since there're so many positive reviews about it? If you go for the AMD, it would a good idea to get the Milltek header and 3-piece cat-back too since this is probably the exhaust system they used to set the maps.
