Amigos anytime you put in a new induction system the rule of thumbs is to disconnect the Battery negative post so that the ECU can reconfigure itself to the new adjustmentof new more massive air flow!! Then you will notice the differance be sure you A?C is OFF!!! ok I have done this modifications on all my vehicles and it works!!

Do you have to disconnect the battery or will the ECU automatically update?

Cool

You have to disconnect battery that reconfigures the ECU totally

I would like to get a set of installation instructions for a PiperCross Viper intake filter. Is there anyone that could email them to me? My email address is liquidcooper@yahoo.com

I've ordered a Piper-Cross air filter replacement for £25.00. I know this is totally different to a whole induction system, but will it give me any change in noise or performance? As I believe, it will breath a little better, but thats all I know.

Any comments would be appriciated.

Cheers.

Your right the new filter will just help it breath a little easier.

I do not believe the noise would change significantly and to be honest i think it will be hard to tell the difference.

However the phycological differance is all important! If the think you can go quicker you will go quicker and you'll on the way to enjoying modifying the car! - Enjoy.

Id agree with Daxler. literally takes 10 mins to put the original air box back on. Takes longer to fit the pipercorss for the first time coz your so consious of breaking something.
