MagnaFlow

I live in the UK and thus cant get a magnaflow for my mini cooper. Previously i have wanted the magnex but i saw some pics of the magnaflow today and it looks the business. Kinda like my dads subaru impreza WRX STI exhaust................... anyway i looked on ebay in the US and can get a magnaflow for around 390 us dollars which is not bad in pounds with the current exchange rates. Has anybody got any clue what shipping would be like? Or has anyone in the UK got a magnaflow for a cooper? Any pics would also be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dale

Wish I could help.
I though there was someone in the UK importing Magnaflow products.
Someone here has to know.

Who would have thought it would be so hard to find pictures of a magnaflow on a cooper. I have seen it on that yellow one on www.gotmini.com but no one else seems to have a picture of one....

6f7 has a Magnaflow on his Cooper, but I couldn't find a pic with it installed. Maybe he's got some updated photos he could post?

Thanks burnout, hmmmm if shipping is going to be that expensive i may have to find another way. I could get it shipped out to my aunt in Conneticut and then bring it back over with me when i go out in July. Im not sure how big the boxes are for a cat-back system, would it be possible to check it in on the plane, also are they heavy?

The Magnaflow has both mufflers welded together forming the large loop for the exhaust flow. This means it doesn't break down like other exhausts so is very large when shipping - it is larger than the max size for normal UPS for Fed Ex. Remember to check size as well as weight when looking for a shipping price.

The Magnaflow for the Cooper is a single muffler system, isn't it? The one for the "S" has the 2 muffler loop. I don't know if it's a 1 piece system or not. If it is, you might look into cutting it into 2 pieces and having it welded back together when you get it.

If the shipping quoted above was for the "S" system, it would be more than what the one for the Cooper would run as there's a weight and size difference.

Just checked Ebay here. There's one place with the Cooper version for $299. Here's a link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WD1V

You can always email them to see what they'd charge for shipping.

OOPS! Forget that....they only list shipping to North America....... ..........

.........on the other hand..... it doesn't hurt to ask.

Woops - I was thinking of the S version.
