Unhappy Super Charger problems

Just interested to know if anybody has had problems with their standard super charger running a 15% pulley?

Just installed mine today. Will let you know but so far the only thing that I have noticed is that if I have the A/C on and the "recycle air" button is enabled and revving past 3500rpms, I hear a high pitched whistling kind of noise...Took some fancy troubleshooting to figure it out (i.e. mix and match of buttons and stuff but I finally go it!)

I never use the "recycle air" button anyways.....and I find it annoying that when you turn on the a/c it automatically turns that option on as well...

Other than that I got a real great boost and don't think I will survive too long without thinking about the 19% pulley!

Here's the link to my post from today:

I have 16k miles on my 15% pulley (32k total miles) with absolutely no supercharger problems yet.

Your new intercooler looks great, when will we be able to get it in the US and what will be the pricing?

I think you might be noticing a common a/c problem. It happens around 70-80 mph, correct? There is a seal at the firewall that can be replaced under warranty that'll fix it. I have "the whistle" too. I just don't run recirc on the highway.

Thanks for the info! I'll just manually shut it off each time!

Thanks guys, I was a bit concerned my super charger was making a funny noise this week, I met rasp for the first time today and he rest assured me there was nothing wrong, he actually thought it was one of the quietest engine/super charger’s he’d heard!!, so its me being stupid!.

Glad you liked my intercooler/diffuser!! it on sale now £399 +£80 postage to the USA
