| UberGeek | Ere!! I got one of them! ![]() PlayMINI sounds great. Fairly peaceful at town revs, with a pleasant hum at idle, and gets nicely noisy at 4000rpm+ Here's a quick sample: http://punkey.net/Punkeyfunkys_PlayMINI_exhaust.mov (I could only rev it up to 4000rpm cos of the rev limiter) BTW, give it a nice polish up with some gentle metal polish and it'll look *great* Hope that helps. -Lee |

Offline | lee, does your exhaust require the mid-section pipe bit? i looked on minispares and it said for the cat back part I need the single pipe adaptor bit (i think!) or does your exhaust fit straight on to the standard pipe? i want to just get a back box and don't want to change any other parts. I want something I can revert back to standard easily enough. ::edited:: i have looked at the magnex box. don't know if anyone has any experience of it? :: any help be great yrs t_t TVR Tuscan S. 400bhp, 0-60 3.8 0-100 8.08. 195mph. | UberGeek | Yes, I needed the middle pipe (can't remember exactly which one). I bought the rear box, and the pipe, so that the rear box goes into the pipe, and that attaches to the bracket just after the cat. Obviously, I gotta keep the cat for emissions etc. If you are unsure, ring PlayMINI themselves and ask for advice (I did) - they're friendly and helpful. -Lee |

| Loud and Proud | I've got a playmini exhaust as well. Sounds great and I would reccomend it to anyone!! Reqarding the centre section - if you get a playmini exhaust you'll need it. This is because the standard Mini exhaust is all one piece, from the cat to the tip (mine's hanging on my garage wall so I am 100% sure on that!) and the playmini back box is just that - a back box, so if you want to connect it to the cat you'll need the centre section. If you're worried about returning the car to stock then that's not a problem - just take the playmini system off (back box and centre section) and put the old exhaust back on. I can reccomend the un-silenced centre section. Still quiet around town and on the motorway, but sounds like a beast when you hit the loud pedal!
