Breaking Warantee

Say I mod my car with an intake, chip, exhaust and such. I go to my local dealership (East Bay MINI) and they do an inspection of the car do not like the new parts. Can I just go home and change what they dont like or will they void my warantee on the spot? Do they keep tabs on what ive done? How does the whole inspection process work? I would also like to hear about the leaniancy of some other dealers. Thanks

There have been posts on here about some dealers taking photos of modded parts, writing little comments on the service records, etc. I just had my Cooper in with an intake and exhaust and my dealer didn't bat an eye. Cincinnati MINI, btw. The bottom line on this is that unless your modded part causes the problem, they can't deny your coverage.
