United-Kingdom Which Cooper exhaust??

The time has come for my next mod, one that I have been debating for a while now.
The question is which exhaust for my mini cooper (non S)
I want a nice loud exhaust but one that looks aesthically nice too!
Cheers
Dale

Get the Janspeed Cat Back.

I have this exhaust. it looks the bizz and sounds the biz. Both sounds and looks, look better than the play mini.

People only say play mini as it is a well known exhaust for the new mini but trust me. I have the Janspeed and my mate has the PLay Mini. He admits mine looks and sounds better.

Hoe that helps

Ben

Borla cat back with a Pipercross Viper CAI, it get you MINI sounding very nice. Here a couple of links to an exhaust shoot out that was held in April of this year. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...8&page=3&pp=25 reply/post #65 and then reply/post #70 has the audio clips in mp3 format. Only two exhausts for Coopers, lots of S stuff.

I am looking at the Quicksilver exhaust. They have dyno tests of 6-8bhp for the cat back exhaust. They have a very good reputation and the thing i like is that it's not much louder, but creates a richer note (don't think the boyracer theme suits the mini).

They also do a downpipe and sports cat. Combined dyno figure of 18-20bhp! Altogether thats around £700 though.

How do dealers respond to people having non-JCW exhausts?

How loud is the playmini? I have heard Tony*T3's on his cooper S, a lovely popping sound, does the cooper sound similar?
