i am taking delivery of my mcs on 1st sept i want to make the whine from the supercharger more noticable i am getting the works kit mid sept as soon as it comes out will that be enough i want it to sound nice without being to obtrussive. i.e the wife to be able to drive it without complaining about it being to loud i am also concernd about warranty hence spending on the works kit any help and info greatly appreciated

ps not done any mods on any other cars before so take it easy.

alta intake.. or in fact any good aftermarket cai would probably do

add a wooshy exhaust like alta or quicksilver and you got an almost jet engine!

Agreed.
The Alta is nice but also one of the harder intakes to install.
Don't worry about the noise.
If your wife notices the sound you can be sure she's pushing the car pretty hard. Normal putt putt driving you really can't hear much difference.
