Offline | Rev limiter On my way to the Dales run yesterday I decided to see how fast my Superchipped One would go in second. The answer was 70- then the rev-limiter kicked in at 7000 revs. I did not detect any "soft" restiction before the cut off that was quite sudden, almost as if the petrol supply had been cut. The Dales run was great, although I decided to leave at the half-way point as I had to travel back to Liverpool. John deserves a vote of thanks for sorting out the route. My usual milage is to & from work and it certainly blew the cobwebs away. Cheers. Last edited by David Woods : Sep 20th, 2004 at 03:06 PM. |
