Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting the Alta CAI for my Cooper S, and after doing a search and reading some reviews, it sounds like the majority are happy with it. However, some say that it is even louder than a Magnaflow exhaust. Is this true? I want supercharger whine, but I don't want it to bore a hole in my head! Is there any drone? I already have a Milltek exhaust system, so what would the decibel levels be liek with the Alta?

Click on my link below and you can hear some videos of mine. I have the Miltek also.

Note that when driving normally, I don't even notice it anymore. It's really not so bad. It consistantly brings a smile to me and my sons face

Sounds very nice, thanks! From the outside, the exhaust seems to drown out the intake at high rpm's, so I don't think it's too loud

I was a bit worried that the Alta might be OTT before fitting it too, but I don't find it intrusive at all. Even my girlfriend hasn't commented on the change!

But then when you put your foot down, you get a fantastic supercharger whine!
