Talking mini performance

Hi,

What products does everyone recommended to buy for a mini cooper, to give it better performance.
eg: Airfilters and exhausts

Do you have to tell your insurance companys about the upgrades???????????

Cheers

1) Depends on what kind of power hike you want, what sort of "feeling" from the car, and what budget you're looking at.

2) Yes.

Perhaps a chip upgrade is the best for guaranteed performance enhancement.

You must tell your insurance about mods though.

I was think about fitting a new Airfilter (I have heard they make the car sound great), and a superchip, but are there other mods I can do that have better effects.

How much more money on the insurance are we looking at, doing these mods????

Cheers

Buy a K&N typhoon intake kit, a coil pack("Screamin Deamon"), and plug wires ("Livewires") all from www.mossmini.com

You'll be more than a second faster 0-60, all for about $300, and it will only take a 1/2 hour to in stall everything.

ud be hard pressed to get more than a few hp from a cooper from exhaust and intake... chip is the best mod for a cooper, exhaust and intake adds purely sound... and likely a bit of gains

for intake, theres a few that are good, check out the sticky on what people use... for exhaust.. miltek and rspeed makes good gains... magnaflow makes good gains too i think... there's also remus, which is a bit more tame

coil pack and wires i dunno yet... once i get mine on my S ill know if it makes a difference
