England jcw exhaust

Can anybody tell me if the small box just afer the cat is a silencer?
Does this need to be removed if you get a sports cat to allow flow through?
what do the rear silencers contain?

Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing...

The box behind the CAT is a flow through resonator. To make my life simpler, my "track" exhaust is a straight pipe that bolts onto the flange downstream of said resonator. I can actually drive the car on the street with that set up as long as I keep it under 4000 RPM.

Haven't cut open a silencer, I am guessing steel baffles are the sole content of the mufflersas with all of them.
