Hi all,

Does anyone have just the JCW exhaust and air filter (not full kit) fitted to their S?
Would there be any gains over and above the stock system?. I was looking at fitting and Eisenmann or Miltek system with an Alta induction kit but on speaking with my BMW dealer today this would void my TLC. TLC would be ok if I went for the JCW fitted by the dealer.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

your dealer is talking rubbish, you can put an alta on if you want, I have a K&N typhoon on mine, and I have no problems with warranty, service, tlc etc.. If there was a fault on your car BMW would have to prove it was caused by your mod

Max, has a GGR conversion on his car and he can tell you all about the major warranty work he had carried out with this on his car

So go get what you want fitted, you don't need to go for the £1100 JCW exhaust, you could get a Milltek, link to a Group Buy that closes tomorrow in my signature

Strictly speaking any change in the cars original specs will void your tlc, (but only the warranty on the actual part you replaced) but most decent dealers will turn a blind eye as long as youve not gone mad. If they are playing you about, just find another dealer, this ones obviously crap...
