...almost

Started it up last night and it's blowing like a hurricane at the flange where the exhaust meets the cat. Get it up on the ramps this morning and one of the bolts has gone AWOL and the second bolt is on it's last half turn of thread

I've just stuck a temp bolt through it and tightened the other one up... phone call to AMD tomorrow.

Plus AMD still haven't posted my old exhaust despite 2 phone calls and an e-mail

Must admit I haven't been that impressed with AMD either.

Mine & Sebby*s exhaust still haven't arrived from Rakey's group buy

Even though Ed told us they arrived over a month ago still no sign

I haven't got my own either, so your not alone, Ed has told me its there, but I said to get others sorted first as I am away in China on business

Its nothing to do with you, it just a bit frustrating, I guess they've got a backlog after the mass amounts of orders

They haven't taken any money yet though, a lot of companies take the money straight away, so a lot of credit to them for that......

u want sum proper locking nuts on there matey

cus the stainless expands and contracts more than the manifold, the bolts work loose basically

Mine has done that a couple of times , its what redun says ,expansion and contraction of the stainless steel but i do have the Milltek manifold which is stainless too. I ended putting locktite on the threads to try and stop them undoing

Thats weird, I had my milltek fitted by a local garage, and it never once loosened, I did 20,000 miles before i took it off when I sold the car... sounds like it wasnt fitted properly in the first place by them
