Offline | Do you have a GTT Sports Manifold? I've just spoken to Roland about his GTT Sports Manifold, as I'm considering changing mine. I don't want anything to loud, and may just go for the exhaust re route on financial grounds. Has anyone got experience of either, and if so what do you think about your mod? Piers |

| MINI2 Senior | Hi!! I've got this monster of a header and its freaking loud with my Megan Racing cat-back. That race cat does wonders from Roland at GTT. My advice is don't get it if you got a cat-back already... not that I know if its going to be load for your taste coupled with the stocker. Will try to get the video of those babies in action somehow ![]() |

Offline | Hi Guys, the GTT manifold only increases noise levels slightly, it is the various aftermarket exhaust systems (ie cat-back) that can make these cars loud. That is one reason why we dont make an exhaust system at the moment. If we do release an exhaust system we will ensure it has good silencing so that it can be used with GTT (or other) cat/manifold, whilst still maintaining sensible noise levels. IMHO it is the sports cat/manifold that will gain the power, not the catback system,so it is more important to have the cat/manifold. ps The re-route is quieter than most (all?) aftermarket systems,so is a cost effective and low sound level option that also is very good with our sports cat/manifold. Best Regards Roland Gt Tuning ![]() |
