Hi

When I drive my 2003 MINI CooperS enthusiastically when cold I can hear the supercharger "clacking" - Is this a sign of problems to come or is this normal when the engine is cold - Anybody out there got an answer to this?

How do you know for sure that it's the supercharger? Do you drive the car hard when the engine is still cold?

It's not supposed to make any "clacking" sound, so maybe you should get it checked out.
