England Stoptech Front Brake Kit on eBay...BARGAIN!!!

Hey all,
I'm not connected to, or in need of the following, but after seeing these selling for around £1500 from UK suppliers, I thought I'd alert you all to them....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=4555792288

Very slow bidding up to now, and still under £300 inc. P&P (at time of posting), could be a real bargain to be had by someone if they are quick....ONLY 4 HOURS TO GO !!!!
Good luck, happy bidding and let me know how you go on!!!
Regards,
Matt

Hey Woodsy,
glad to see I could help somebody out.....you spot them thanks to the thread or had you already being watching them ?
I'm sure they'll arrive ok, be sure to post the pics when they do, and to answer your question int he other thread, I think they will fit your wheels...I believe they will fit all 17's apart from OEM Mini ones...though you may need spacers, I'm sure someone will know or check on www.minimaniauk.com, I think they list all compatible alloys!!!!

Cheers,
Matt

No I actually missed your thread. I was really lucky I was doing a search for brake kits for the mini on ebay and spotted the stoptech sale with 20 minutes to go. So glad I didn't miss it, I'd only just emailed Lohen the other day about the Stoptech kit and had given up on it due to the price.

Its all a bit spooky really, may be I should buy a lottery ticket

Thanks for the link in your earlier reply. Lohen had said it might need spacers to fit, oh well I can afford the spacers now

I thought it said that but if you read it again I think it says all you need is someone to fit it and some spacers.

Either way I'm not bothered.

Yeah they look good, can't wait to see them on my car. I've seen a photo on NAM with the same kit and wheels, it looks excellent.

The drilled discs look nice, but I think the grooved ones would be better for the track.

I'm not complaining I can always get the grooved discs when the drilled ones need replacing.

The kit came today, almost broke my back picking it up All I've got to do now is find someone to fit it for me.

On the mirror topic, when I was having my suspension fitted by Lohen, they'd just received a set of those mirrors. Looked a well made bit of kit.

Nice one Woodsy,
did you get a chance to see the mirrors.....were you tempted?
I'm still a bit 50/50 about them, they look good off but dunno if I am a fan of them fitted to the Mini! Plus I like my white mirror caps

Matt
