Pipercross Panel Filter

I've just gone to fit a new panel filter to my 04 MC and there are no instructions in the box . I've fitted it anyway and everything seems fine.

However I have one question, the filter comes dry and there is a small spray can of oil, should I have used the whole can ?? I have used about half but didn't want to get carried away because I know over oiled filters can cause problems. Your help would be much appreciated.

I may be wrong but I thought all of these filters came pre-oiled....
Hopefully someone else can confirm or otherwise!
Cheers,
Matt

From reading elsewhere on the web it seems that the filter, if not preoiled, only requires a few squirts over it to cover the whole filter....hope you've not over done it as some people have damaged their air boxes doing this
Good luck with it,
Matt

Thanks Matt, no I didn't use too much oil as I was aware that over oiling could be bad, I was more concerned that I hadn't used enough but sounds like I'm OK.
