Offline | Pipercross Panel Filter I've just gone to fit a new panel filter to my 04 MC and there are no instructions in the box . I've fitted it anyway and everything seems fine. However I have one question, the filter comes dry and there is a small spray can of oil, should I have used the whole can ?? I have used about half but didn't want to get carried away because I know over oiled filters can cause problems. Your help would be much appreciated. |

| MINI2 Regular | From reading elsewhere on the web it seems that the filter, if not preoiled, only requires a few squirts over it to cover the whole filter....hope you've not over done it as some people have damaged their air boxes doing this Good luck with it, Matt |

Offline | Thanks Matt, no I didn't use too much oil as I was aware that over oiling could be bad, I was more concerned that I hadn't used enough but sounds like I'm OK. ![]() |
