There are several members running a BMC CDA intake ...

Poll: What intake have you fitted to your Cooper or One?

I have the BMC CDA fitter to my 05 MC!

It's a superb bit of kit. BMC says it gives 13bhp - I can't see it being that high myself, but I did see the dyno charts when I went to see them and bought one.

Throttle response is defonately improved from take-off, and when it hits 4k is just sucks in air like it's going out of fashion!

The sound is louder than a Viper and you save a fair few quid!!

The only downside is it's a little tricky to position it. See my pics for the install as recommeded by BMC. Although I have now replaced the throttle body pipe with a silicone connector.

I think 'pholcus' installed his slightly differently using some type of drain pipe bend section if I remember.

All in all a top induction kit for the money! Probably best bang for buck!

just checked out the cda induction kit-it says it's not for road use?
Anyone know why?
IMASSAUK, where did you purchase this from in the UK?
Have you had any problemswith it since?
I'm thinking of ordering one for my 05 mcs.
Thanks
