Do a search on Pipercross or K&N, you'll find a lot of info about these.

I fitted a Pipercross about a month ago, best £35 I've spent for a long time , I have a 04 Cooper and found that when pulling away there was a bit of hessitation, this has gone now I have fitted the Pipercross and it improves the engine noise too.

I have a K&N on my Cooper. Slightly more induction noise, slightly smoother. Go for it.

Cheers

I have a Pipercross filter.

Im not convinced it really improved performance, I am now looking at a CAI system for that extra kick!!!

Cheers
