Question Spark Plugs?

I want to up rate my spark plugs but not sure witch to buy.
Witch are better for performance, the spark plugs used in the JCSW kit or the NGK Iridium IX spark plugs?

This is a good question, but i'm wondering why would changing the spark plugs be benefitial to either a modded or stock car?

If you do pulley upgrades etc then you increase the risk of pre detonation caused by the spark plug not dissipating the extra heat generated. By switching to a cooler plug you decrease this risk.

I checked the price of the JCW plugs here in OZ and they were $82 each.......I am getting a full set of IK22 for $88.........JCW profiteering?

Your spark plug just needs the right heat rating, as noted above. Beyond that, just use the factory recommended brand (NGK for Mini, I believe), extra power through "uprated" spark plugs (different brands, or worse, stuff like Splitfire) is just a fairy tale.
